OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM PROFILE
MR. MARK KUNE (B. Tech., PGD, MBA)He is the Business Development Manager and until April 1st 2008, he was MD/CEO of Extremes Interests Ventures Limited, a privately owned indigenous company that is into environmental maintenance and services, logistics, Leasing, Procurement and General contracts. Before then, he had had a span of eight (8) years of banking with AllStates Trust Bank Plc growing through the rank and file and eventually became Business Manager, Finima Business Office. At the demise of the bank, he left to pull some stunts in politics in his home state, Bayelsa. Born on the 23rd September, 1972, he attended the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt. He has attended several courses in banking and related discipline.
MRS JOY W. OFUOKWU (B.A)She is the Head of Credit and Marketing unit of the bank. She attended University of Port Harcourt where she studied History. Upon her graduation in 1997, she started to develop a career in customer relations in the financial sector when she started working with Industrial and General Insurance Company Limited as a Field Officer, later rose to the position of an Agency Manager all in UBA Insurance as a Branch Unit Head in charge of some number of marketers. Prior to he present position, she was Head-Retail Banking with First Global Microfinance Bank Ltd. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at her alma mater. She has also attended several courses in relation to her duties as a customer relation officer and marketer. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
MRS. RHODA O. IDRIS (HND, PGD, MBA)Mrs. Rhoda O. Idris is the bank’s Head of Operations. Born on the 29th July, 1973, a graduate of the University of Calabar where she earned herself twin degrees of PGD, and MBA in Management, and Finance respectively. Between 1990-1995, she had studied Banking & Finance from the Kwara State Polytechnic where she bagged both OND, and HND degrees. She had her banking career with the former Trade Bank Plc between the period of 2001-2006 and rose to the position of a Senior Banking Officer. While in the bank, she had the opportunity of working in both Operations and Accounts Units which gave her wide experience in general operation matters in banking as Cash Management, Customer Relations, Credit Portfolio management, Account Opening responsibilities, customer services improvement skills, reconciliation, inventory management, vault management. Prior to her present position, she was with Faithtrust Insurance Brokers as a Marketer.
MR. CHUKWUKA EMEROUN (B.Sc., MBA, ACA)He is the Head, Audit Department of the bank. Born on the 17th August, 1972, he studied both in the Abia State University Uturu, and Federal University of Technology, Owerri where he successfully obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Accountancy, and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance in the years 1999 and 2003 respectively. His working career actually started when he was hired as an Accountant by IKELOMU GROUP WA LTD, Owerri in Imo State for the period between 2001- 2003. Thereafter, he continued his career with a professional firm of Chartered Accountants: ROBERT ADE-ODIACHI & CO in Port Harcourt from 2003-2005. Until this new appointment with the bank, he was Senior Manager (Regional Accounts) with CHELLARAMS PLC, Port Harcourt Branch. He has a wide range of experience in preparation and production of complete company financial accounts whether, monthly, quarterly or annually. Budget preparations, Funds and Cash Flow statements, monitoring, etc are also within his area of experience. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN); and commands a good knowledge and use of relevant programmes in computer.
