He is the able Chairman of the Board. Coming with his loaded wealth of experience in Banking where he passionately spent all of his productive life working for the giant, FIRST BANK OF NIGERA PLC . Born on 15th October, 1941, he hails from Buguma Town in the Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.

In his successful 35 working years with First Bank of Nigeria Plc, he rose from the level of a Branch Manager to Principal Manager, a position he maintained until he retired to closely handle his personal businesses.

He won the best Senior Manager Award in the whole of the eastern region of the bank in 1994 while he was serving in the capacity of a Senior Manager. During his banking career days, he attended so many courses both local and offshore. Notable among them:

1. Manager’s Course in London organised by Standard Chartered (1978).
2. Senior Bankers Course organised by Manchester Business School (1990).

Also, as part of his contribution to the growth and development of banking in Nigeria, he had presented several intellectual paper works in Conferences, Seminars, and Workshops. A few we can mention includes the following:

• Updating today’s manager in effective control of advances(credit) at Branch and
  Head Office levels (Calabar, 1989).
• Controlling advances in a receding economy (Port Harcourt, 1990).

His hobbies among others include: reading of Time magazine, Harvard Business review, The Economist of London, and local and national tabloids.

Born on the 24th day September, 1969, Mr. Efobudu Emesiobi trained and qualified as an architect from the Rivers State University of Science & Technology, Port Harcourt in 1990, and 1993 respectively.

He had a good working experience with ARCHSTRUCT, a professional architectural and engineering firm of repute in Port Harcourt where he productively put in eleven (11) years of meritorious service.

He left in 2004 to join a flourishing partnership construction and engineering concern in the name and style of ED AND FELIX DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT as a key Director. Mr. Efobudu Emesiobi is happily married with a wife and four (4) children.

 

Mr. Folasoye S. Oyepeju , an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan and holds M.Sc. in Banking & Finance from University of Benin. He currently serve as the Managing Director of the. bank. With several years of meritorious banking service that cuts across different financial institutions in the country, his experience and mastery especially in retail banking and credit functions is huge. He rose from the position of an Assistant Manager (AM) to Assistant General Manager (AGM) in a space of 6 years before he personally resigned his last appointment with Marina International Bank Limited (Merger with Access Bank Plc) for UK where he was trained as mortgage and property consultant before venturing into private business of finance and mortgages. He has held several leadership positions. He has attended many finance/management related courses in different training centres and institutions of higher learning both within and outside of the country.

Member of several acclaimed local and international professional bodies. Also, a winner of so many awards/laurels in his career sojourns for best performances. He is married with children.

He is a dynamic and creative young man with analytical ability and good initiative with a flair for work especially the type that is quite challenging. Born on 10th July, 1963, he attended both Universities of Jos, and Uyo where he obtained degrees in Finance, and Law. Currently, he is the Managing Solicitor of a reputable Law Firm called J.L.D Dagogo & Co in Port Harcourt.

His working experience cuts across both private and public divides: Mobil Producing Unlimited, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, and Federal Ministry of Works respectively. He lives a balanced and fulfilled life both in family and business.
